The Wahine Forum at Laniakea presents “Keys to the C-Suite: Wahine Insights,” a power lunch to be held on Thursday, Nov. 10 at the YWCA Laniakea. Three local female business executives will discuss what it takes to succeed and how to rise through the ranks. The featured speakers are:
- Coralie Chun Matayoshi, CEO, American Red Cross, Hawaii State Chapter. Coralie has served as the CEO of the American Red Cross, Hawaii State Chapter since 2003. She is an attorney who previously served as Executive Director of the HSBA for 13 years. In 2010, she was named by the Pacific Business News as Businesswoman of the Year (nonprofit).
- Bettina Mehnert, Chief Operating Officer, Architects Hawaii Ltd. Bettina Mehnert is a trailblazer in a once male-dominated field. Starting at AHL in 1988, she rose steadily, becoming the company’s first female principal, director and now COO. She is known for her belief in people and a participative management style.
- Michele Saito, President, Farmers Insurance Hawaii. Michele is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Farmers Insurance Hawaii Family of Companies. Throughout her tenure, she has shown exemplary leadership and vision, overseeing the strategic planning and operations facilitation for all company entities in Hawaii.
