Securing government contracts can provide a huge boost to your business, but the process can be challenging and time consuming without the proper resources.

The Small Business Administration will conduct a free workshop for veteran-owned businesses on how to expand into government contracting on Tuesday, May 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the SBA District Office, located at 500 Ala Moana Blvd, Bldg. 1, Suite 306.

Representatives from SBA, the Hawaii Procurement and Technical Assistance Center, Department of Transportation, Honolulu Minority Business Enterprise Center and SCORE Hawaii will present veterans with information covering a wide range of topics to help them land federal contracts.

To register, contact Jerry Hirata at 541-2990, ext. 210, or visit www.sba.gov/hi.
